Hartmann, Skibbie & Kowalski Lead F&M to 3-0 Sweeps of Haverford & Washington in Volleyball

CHESTERTOWN, MD - Rose Hartmann (Sr., Warminster, PA/ William Tennet) and Jackie Skibbie (Fr., Darby, PA/ Merion Mercy) helped the Diplomats defeat Washington College and Haverford by 3-0 scores in a Centennial Conference volleyball tri-match.

Versus Washington College, the Diplomats used 13 kills from Hartmann, 10 from Kristen Kowalski (Sr., York, PA/ Central York) and 39 assists off the hands of Skibbie to sink the Shorewomen in three straight games (30-13, 30-26, 30-15).

Against Haverford, the Diplomats used 11 kills from Kowalski and Hartmann and 41 assists from Skibbie to sweep the Fords (30-25, 32-30, 30-22). Elizabeth Earl (So., New Freedom, PA/ Susquehannock) also chipped in with three service aces for the Diplomats as F&M remains a top the CC leader board with a perfect 4-0 Conference record.

Franklin & Marshall (18-3, 4-0 CC) returns to action on October 5 when they travel to Cortland State to take part in the Cortland Inter-Regional Invitational. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
