Goedicke Leads F&M Over Swarthmore 3-0 in Volleyball

LANCASTER, PA - Heidi Goedicke (Sr., Spring Church, PA/ Elderton) led the Diplomat attack with nine kills, two service aces, four digs and one solo block as Franklin & Marshall College recorded a 3-0 victory over Swarthmore in Centennial Conference volleyball.

F&M wasted no time against the Garnet as Goedicke tallied three kills and two service aces to take the first game of the match 30-17. In game two, the Diplomats reeled off 15 straight points to take the game 30-15. In the last and final game of the match F&M did much the same as they finished the match rolling off 14 straight points to improve to 19-5, 5-0 in Centennial Conference play.

Franklin & Marshall will return to action on October 11 when they travel to Collegeville, Pennsylvania to take on Ursinus College. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
