Volleyball Defeats Bryn Mawr, 3-1

LANCASTER, PA - The Franklin & Marshall College women's volleyball team opened Centennial Conference play by defeating Bryn Mawr College 3-1 (30-27, 28-30, 30-18, 30-24).

For the Diplomats, Elizabeth Earll (Jr., New Freedom, PA/Susquehannock) led the way with 16 kills, while Maureen Lafferty (Sr., Collegeville, PA/Villa Maria) added 14 kills and 13 digs. Defensively, Meghan Godorov (So., Orefield, PA/Parkland) chipped in 28 digs as Franklin & Marshall improved to 13-1 all-time against the Owls.

The Diplomats will return to action on Saturday September 20 when they play host to Messiah College and DeSales University for a tri-match. First serve is set for 10:00 am.
