Grue Named to October 20 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall setter Jen Grue (Sr., Canton, PA/Canton) has been named to the October 20 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll for her performance in a tri-match versus Washington and Swarthmore.

In the match, she compiled 83 assists, 23 digs, five kills and three service aces as the Diplomats kept pace for a playoff spot in the Conference playoffs. Against Swarthmore, she registered 48 assists, five kills and 10 digs in a 3-1 victory over the Garnet. In the nightcap versus Washington, she recorded 35 assists, three service aces and 13 digs in a 3-0 victory as the Diplomats improved to 12-9, 5-1 in the Centennial

On the year, Grue ranks second in the Centennial Conference in set assists with 10.12 per game as she has tallied 749 in 74 games to date.

As a team, Franklin & Marshall leads the Centennial Conference in digs (22.53) and ranks second in hitting percentage (.205). Further, the squad ranks fourth in assists (12.11) and third in service aces (2.66) per game.

Franklin & Marshall College will return to action on October 22 at home versus Dickinson College in Centennial Conference competition.
