Lafferty Named to October 6 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall outside hitter Maureen Lafferty (Sr., Collegeville, PA/Villa Maria Academy) has been named to the October 6 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll for her performance versus Lebanon Valley College.

In a 3-0 loss to the Flying Dutchwomen, Lafferty recorded 11 kills, five service aces and 19 digs as the Diplomats slipped to 9-8 on the season.

The Diplomats are a perfect 2-0 in Centennial Conference play as the team defeated Bryn Mawr (3-1 W) and Haverford (3-0 W) earlier in the season.

In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, Lafferty ranks 9th in kills per game (3.13), fourth in service aces (0.65) and sixth in digs (4.06) per game as she has appeared in 54 games.

Overall, the Diplomats dominate the individual digs statistics as libero/outside hitter Meghan Godorov (So., Orefield, PA/Parkland) leads the Conference with 6.78 per game through 59 games.

As a team, Franklin & Marshall leads the Centennial Conference in digs (22.88) and ranks second in kills (12.86) per game and hitting percentage (.190) through 59 games. Further, the squad ranks third in assists (11.93) and sixth in service aces (2.56) per game.

Franklin & Marshall (9-8, 2-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on October 11 at Johns Hopkins with matches versus the Bluejays and McDaniel College. Opening serve for the F&M-Hopkins match is set at 11:00 a.m. with the Diplomats-Green Terror match to follow at 2:00 p.m.
