Godorov & Diplomats Rank Among Nation's Best in September 7 NCAA Division III Volleyball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College libero Meghan Godorov (So., Orefield, PA/Parkland) and the Diplomats rank among the nation's best in digs according to the September 7 NCAA Division III women's volleyball statistics.

Individually, Godorov ranks ninth with 6.87 digs per game as she has tallied 103 in 15 games to date. Karen Tobias of Maryville (TN) leads Division III with 8.83 per game.

In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, outside hitter Maureen Lafferty (Sr., Collegeville, PA/Villa Maria) ranks second with 5.07 digs per game, while setter Jenn Grue (Sr., Canton, PA/Canton) ranks fifth with 4.00 per contest as Franklin & Marshall is the only team with three players in the top ten.

As a team, the Diplomats rank ninth in the nation with 25.47 digs per game (382 in 15 games), just 0.15 digs per game off the pace of eight place Maryville (25.47 dpg, 666 in 26 games).

Franklin & Marshall (2-2, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 12-13 at the University of Scranton Invitational.
