Skibbie Named to September 8 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall setter Jackie Skibbie (Jr., Darby, PA/Merion Mercy) has been named to the September 8 Centennial Conference volleyball honor roll.

In a 4-0 week, she recorded 153 assists and 59 digs as the Diplomats opened the season by winning the 2004 Franklin & Marshall Volleyball Scramble. In the tournament title match versus SUNY-Brockport, Skibbie had 35 assists and 20 digs as the Diplomats recorded a 3-2 win. Earlier in the week, she registered 52 assists and 18 digs in a 3-2 victory over Elizabethtown.

In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, she ranks fourth in assists per game (9.00 apg) as she has recorded 153 assists in 17 games.

As a team, the Diplomats rank sixth in hitting percentage (.164), sixth in kills (11.06), fourth in assists (10.24), sixth in blocks (1.65) fifth in service aces (2.41) and second in digs (23.12) per game in the Conference statistics.

Franklin & Marshall (4-0, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on September 14th at Swarthmore College. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
