Franklin & Marshall Ranks Among Centennial Conference Leaders in October 12 Volleyball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College ranks among the leaders in the October 12 Centennial Conference volleyball statistics.

Individually, middle hitter Susan Taylor (Fr., The Woodlands, TX/John Cooper) ranks second in hitting percentage (.287) and eighth in blocked shots (.78) as she has connected for 178 kills with on 471 chances and blocked 52 shots (26 solo, 29 assisted) in 69 games.

A member of the October 12 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll, middle blocker Liz Earll (Sr., New Freedom, PA/Susquehannock) ranks third in the conference in hitting percentage (.274), 15th in kills (2.88) and ninth in blocked shots (.70) as she has 164 kills on 435 chances and 40 blocks (22 solo, 18 assisted) in 57 games.

Setter Jackie Skibbie (Jr., Darby, PA/Merion Mercy) ranks third in the conference in assists (9.78) as she has tallied 675 assists in 69 games, while outside hitter Kayleen Bailey (Jr., Baltimore, MD/Institute of Notre Dame) ranks third in service aces (.55) as she now has 35 aces in 64 games.

Defensively, libero Meghan Godorov (Jr., Orefield, PA/Parkland) ranks second in digs (6.46) as she has registered 407 digs in 63 games.

As a team, the Diplomats rank fourth in hitting percentage (1.78), seventh in opponent hitting percentage (.930), fifth in assists (10.89), sixth in kills (11.97) and blocked shots (2.30) and first in digs (21.79) per game.

Franklin & Marshall (12-5, 4-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on October 12 at McDaniel College. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
