Skibbie Named to November 2 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College setter Jackie Skibbie (Jr., Darby, PA/Merion Mercy) has been named to the November 2 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll.

Last week, she recorded seven kills in 19 attempts for a .263 hitting percentage in a 2-0 week as the Diplomats defeated Washington (3-0 W) and Muhlenberg (3-1 W). In addition, she dished out 68 assists, served four aces and recorded 20 digs.

In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, Skibbie ranks third in the conference in assists (9.80) as she has tallied 1,068 assists in 109 games. Further, she ranks 15th in assists in Centennial Conference history in assists with 2,367, 323 away from surpassing Chiemi Suzuki ’01 of Bryn Mawr for 14th place.

Franklin & Marshall (20-9, 9-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season at noon on November 6 versus #3 seed Johns Hopkins University at Gettysburg in the Centennial Conference Championship semifinals. If the Diplomats defeat Hopkins, and #1 seed Gettysburg downs the winner of a first round game between #4 Haverford and #5 Dickinson, the CC title match will be played at noon on November 7 at Gettysburg. However, if F&M defeats Hopkins and Gettysburg loses, the Centennial Conference title match will be hosted at the Mayser Center on November 7 at 1:00 p.m.
