Taylor Named to October 25 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College middle hitter Susan Taylor (So., The Woodlands, TX/John Cooper) has been named to the October 25 Centennial Conference Volleyball Honor Roll. Last week she recorded 68 kills on 170 attempts (.235), with one assist and service ace, eight digs and 13 blocks as the Diplomats defeated Dickinson (3-0 W), but fell to regionally and nationally ranked Eastern (3-0 L), Juniata (3-0 L), NYU (3-1 L) and Carnegie Mellon (3-2 L). She had a week high 20 kills versus Carnegie Mellon and added 18 versus NYU. Overall, she also hit .429 against Dickinson with 10 kills and one error in 21 attempts. In the latest Centennial Conference statistics for matches through October 23, she ranks fourth in hitting percentage (.288) and fifth in kills (3.67 kpg) and blocks (0.83 bpg) as she leads a Franklin & Marshall squad which ranks eighth in service aces (2.23 apg) and digs (15.92 dpg), fifth in hitting percentage (.191), third in assists (11.96 apg), fourth in kills (13.04 kpg) and sixth in blocks (1.68 bpg). For her career, Taylor has 566 kills, 95 digs, 62 blocks (36 solo, 26 assisted), 29 service aces and 15 assists in 52 matches. Franklin & Marshall (15-8, 8-2 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on October 28-29 at the St. Mary’s Invitational.
