LANCASTER, PA -- Guard Amy Kreitz (Sr., Allentown, PA/Salisbury) and center Amy Abernathy (So., Far Hills, NJ/American School Paris) recorded double-doubles as the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats improved to 11-4, 4-2 in the Centennial Conference with a 81-60 win over Dickinson College in the Mayser Center.

Kreitz, who drained 9-of-10 at the foul line and six-of-16 from the field for 23 points, and corralled 10 rebounds finished with her first intercollegiate double-double in points and boards. In addition, Abernathy chipped in 16 points and 13 boards for her tenth double-double of the season.

Through fifteen games, she has previously recorded double-doubles against Waynesburg (23 points, 15 rebounds), Lycoming (21 points, 19 rebounds), Gwynedd Mercy (16 points, 13 rebounds), Western Maryland College (16 points, 15 rebounds), Muhlenberg (16 points, 11 rebounds), Drew (12 points, 12 rebounds), Elizabethtown (19 points, 20 rebounds), Ursinus (10 points, 12 rebounds) and Moravian (23 points, 10 rebounds).

Overall, the Diplomats would dominate on both ends of the court swiping 21 steals off defensive pressure and converting 25-of-74 from the field, including five-of-17 from beyond the three-point arch, as Franklin & Marshall pulled away from a 36-29 halftime lead with 45 points in the second half for the 21 point margin of victory.

Guard Jamie Drahos (Jr., Ambler, PA/Wissahickon) would have the hot-hand in the first half as she converted five-of-eight shots from the field for 13 points, while Kreitz added 11 on two field goals and seven foul shots as the Diplomats were outshot by the Red Devils 34.4 to 33.3 percent.

The key to the game would be turnovers as Dickinson coughed the ball up 12 times in the first half, allowing F&M to transition into the offensive end and score off fast breaks.

The win continues an eight game winning streak by Franklin & Marshall as the Diplomats have yet to lose in 2002

Dickinson (7-9, 1-5 Centennial Conference) was led by Alexis Falvello with 19 points, Megan Shelley with 12 and Tracee Zalewski added 10.

Franklin & Marshall will return to action on Wednesday versus Johns Hopkins University in the Mayser Center in the fifth game of an eight game home stand. Opening tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
