Johns Named to December 8 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College point guard Dana Johns (So., York, PA/Eastern York) has been named to the December 8 Centennial Conference women's Basketball Honor Roll.

In a 72-57 loss to No. 12 nationally ranked Messiah College, Johns poured in 14 points on five-of-nine shooting from the field, including two-of-four from the three-point line, with five rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Individually for the Diplomats, Amy Abernathy (Sr., Far Hills, NJ/American-Paris) is first in the conference in rebounding (17.8 rpg), offensive rebounds (7.00 rpg) and defensive rebounds (10.75), while ranking second in scoring (15.5 ppg) and 11th in field goal percentage (.435) and steals (2.00 spg). Guard Courtney Tierney (Sr., Princeton, NJ/The Hun School) ranks sixth in scoring (14.5 ppg) and third in three-point field goals made (2.25). Johns ranks third in assists (3.75 apg) and second in steals (4.25 spg).

As a team, the Diplomats rank second in free throw percentage (.735), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (.344), third in rebounding margin (+2.2) and second in blocked shots (4.00 bpg).

Franklin & Marshall College (0-4, 0-1 Centennial Conference) returns to the court versus Gettysburg College at 7:00 p.m. on December 9.
