Abernathy Ranks Among Nation's Best in February 3 NCAA Women's Basketball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College center Amy Abernathy (Jr., Far Hills, NJ/American School Paris) ranks 30th in field goal percentage in the latest NCAA statistics for games through February 2. Abernathy, who was shooting 54.6 percent through Sunday, leads F&M in field goal percentage, points (15.8 ppg), rebounds (10.5 rpg), offensive rebounds (79), defensive rebounds (110), blocks (37) and minutes (27.0 per game) as the Diplomats are 10-8, 4-5 in the Centennial Conference.
For her career, Abernathy has 966 points and 753 rebounds
as she is on pace to become the 12th member of the 1,000 point
club in women's basketball history at the College. Further,
she may become the second player in men's and/or women's basketball
history to achieve a double-grand joining Anne Krumrine '90
(1,811 points & 1,180 rebounds).
Franklin & Marshall will return to action on February 8 when at Swarthmore College. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
