Abernathy Ranks Among Nation's Best in February 10th NCAA Women's Basketball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College center Amy Abernathy (Jr., Far Hills, NJ/American School Paris) ranks 15th in field goal percentage in the latest NCAA statistics for games through February 9.

Abernathy, who was shooting 56.1 percent through Sunday, leads F&M in field goal percentage (.557), points (16.1 ppg), rebounds (10.3 rpg), offensive rebounds (88), defensive rebounds (118), blocks (44) and minutes (27.7 per game) as the Diplomats are 11-9, 5-6 in the Centennial Conference.

For her career, Abernathy has 1,002 points and 770 rebounds as she may become the second player in men's and/or women's basketball history to achieve a double-grand joining Anne Krumrine '90 (1,811 points & 1,180 rebounds).

Franklin & Marshall will return to action on February 15 when they host Haverford College. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
