GETTYSBURG, PA - Guard Courtney Tierney (Jr., Princeton, NJ/Hun School) scored a career high 28-points, but Gettysburg College rallied from a 14-point deficit to defeat Franklin & Marshall 76-70 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball action on Saturday.

For Gettysburg, Emily Falk went 5-for-6 shooting from the floor, 1-for-1 from behind the arc and hit a career-best 9-of-10 from the free throw line for a career high 20 points as Gettysburg overcame a 36-26 halftime deficit to drop the Diplomats to 9-4, 3-2 in Centennial Conference play

Abernathy and Jamie Drahos (Sr., Ambler, PA/Wissahickon) each hit one-of-two from the free throw to restore the lead for the Diplomats, but Hodge knocked down a jumper to give Gettysburg a 67-66 advantage with 4:43 remaining.

After Tierney drained her fifth 3-pointer to give Franklin & Marshall their final lead of the game at 69-67 with 3:42 remaining, the Bullets closed the contest on a 9-1 run to end a three-game losing streak against the Diplomats.

Hodge cut the deficit to one point after hitting a free throw before Falk knocked down a pair of free throws to give Gettysburg a 70-69 advantage with 1:36 left.

Maura Lentz (So., Baltimore, MD/Catonsville) made the back end of two free throws to knot the game at 70, but Jen Bengel hit a jumper in the left corner off a Hodge assist to give the Bullets the lead for good with 1:01 remaining. Falk hit 1 of 2 free throws and Bengel converted 3 of 4 to seal the victory.
