Tierney Named to January 20 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Steve Ulrich, Executive Secretary of the Centennial Conference, announced that Franklin & Marshall College's Courtney Tierney (Jr., G, Princeton, NJ/ The Hun School) has been named to the women's basketball honor roll for the week of January 13th - January 19th. In a 1-1 week for the Diplomats, Tierney averaged 20.5 points per game. Versus Ursinus in a 76-55 win, she scored a game high 13 points, grabbed six rebounds and had three assists. She dropped in a career high 28 points on nine-of-sixteen shooting from the field and five-of-seven from the three-point line in a 76-70 loss at Gettysburg College. In the latest CC statistics, Tierney ranks 14th in scoring (10.8), assist-turnover ratio (0.54) and assists (2.54), 10th in three-point field goal percentage (.311) and ninth in three-point field goals made (1.46) per game. Franklin & Marshall (9-4, 3-2 CC) will return to action on January 23 when they travel to Moravian College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
