Tierney Named to February 2 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College guard Courtney Tierney (Sr., Princeton, NJ/Hun School) has been named to the February 2 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll for her performance during the week of January 26th - February 1st. In a 60-37 victory at Bryn Mawr College she scored 19 points on seven-of-12 shooting from the field including two-of-five from the three point line and three-of-four from the charity stripe while hauling in four rebounds, four steals, blocking three shots and adding an assist. In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, she leads the CC in points per game with 16.1, 0.3 per game ahead of teammate Amy Abernathy (Sr., Far Hills, NJ/American School Paris). In addition, Tierney ranks among the Conference leaders in assists (seventh, 3.0 apg), free throw percentage (10th, .731), three-point field goal percentage (sixth, .371) and three-point field goals made (second, 2.20 pg). In other rankings, Abernathy ranks among the CC’s best in scoring (second, 15.8 ppg), rebounding (first, 14.3 rpg), field goal percentage (third, .521), blocked shots (first, 4.0 bpg), offensive rebounds (first, 5.47) and defensive rebounds (first, 8.87). Point guard Dana Johns (So., York, PA/Eastern York) ranks in assists (fourth, 3.77 apg), steals (second, 3.46 spg), three-point field goal percentage (fourth, .375), three-point field goals (sixth, 1.62 pg) and assist/turnover (seventh, 1.20).
