Johns Named to February 23 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA -- Franklin & Marshall College point guard Dana Johns (So., York, PA/Eastern York) has been named to the February 23 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll. In a 1-1 week, the 5-2 point guard tallied 25 points on eight-of-20 shooting from the field including three "treys", six-of-eight shooting from the charity stripe, six rebounds, nine assists and seven steals. In a 63-42 victory over Washington to clinch a Centennial Conference playoff berth, Johns scored 15 points on four-of-eight shooting from the field, including two-of-five from beyond the arc, and five-of-six from the free throw line. She also dished out four assists and recorded four steals. Individually, Johns ranks among the Conference leaders in scoring (9.7 ppg, 21st), assists (4.10 apg, third), steals (3.25 spg, second), three-point field goal percentage (.356, seventh), three-point field goals made (1.60 pg, sixth) and assist to turnover ratio (1.52, fifth). As a team the Diplomats rank in scoring offense (65.5 ppg, fifth), scoring defense (57.5 ppg, fourth), scoring margin (+7.9 ppg, fourth), field goal percentage (.415, second), three-point field goal percentage (.334, first), rebounding defense (38.6 rpg, third), blocked shots (5.36 bpg, second), assists (16.05, third), assist to turnover ratio (.76, third) and three-point field goals (4.91 pg, second). Franklin & Marshall (12-10, 12-5 Centennial Conference) will conclude the regular season on February 24 at Johns Hopkins University. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
