Johns Named to December 6 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College point guard Dana Johns (Jr., York, PA/Eastern York) has been named to the December 6 Centennial Conference Women’s Basketball Honor Roll. In a 1-2 week, she averaged 18.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.6 assists as the Diplomats defeated Haverford College (86-58 W), but fell to #14 Messiah College (68-47 L) and York College (73-65 L). Versus Haverfod, she connected on nine-of-17 field goal attempts, including four-of-five from beyond the arc, and three-of-four at the free throw line for a game high 25 points with seven rebounds, three steals and three assists. Against York, Johns hit eight-of-13 field goal attempts, including three-of-five from beyond the arc, and two-of-two at the free throw line for a game high 21 points while collecting two rebounds, two assists and five steals in 40 minutes of play. In the latest Centennial Conference statistics, she ranks second in points (18.8 ppg), ninth in field goal percentage (.465), 12th in assists (2.50 apg), third in free throw percentage (.810), first in steals (4.50 spg), second in three-point field goal percentage (.457), first in three-point field goals made (2.67 pg) and 11th in assist-to-turnover ratio (+.88). Franklin & Marshall (1-5, 1-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on December 7 at Gettysburg College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
