Strunk Named to December 13 Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College guard Christy Strunk (Jr., Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) has been named to the December 13 Centennial Conference Women’s Basketball Honor Roll.

In a 1-1 week for the Diplomats in which Franklin & Marshall fell at Gettysburg (71-58 L) and defeated Bryn Mawr (59-36 W), she averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals as F&M improved to 2-6 on the season, 2-2 in Centennial Conference play.

Against Bryn Mawr, Strunk connected on seven-of-14 from the field, including two-of-four from beyond the arc, and one-of-two at the free throw line with a team high three assists in 20 minutes to lead Franklin & Marshall to the victory.

On the year, she ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 8.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while dishing out 16 assists and grabbing eight steals to date.

Franklin & Marshall (2-6, 2-2 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on January 3 at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
