Diplomats Rank Among National Leaders in February 13 NCAA Women's Basketball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Guards Dana Johns (Sr., York, PA/Eastern York) and Sarah Meisenberg (Fr., Severna, Park, MD/Severn School) and forward Brittany Braxton (So., Pearl River, NY/Nanuet) are ranked among the national leaders in the February 13 NCAA Division III women’s basketball statistics.

The 2005 Centennial Conference Player of the Year, Johns is ranked 25th in the nation in free throw shooting percentage as she is converting 85.4% of her opportunities at the line (76-of-89) and ranks 45th in three point field goals per game with 2.3 per contest (54 in 23 games). Meisenberg ranks 67th in free throw percentage as she is shooting 81.9% at the charity stripe (68-of-83).

Braxton ranks 52nd in rebounds per game with 9.8 per contest as she has pulled down 225 (93 offensive, 132 defensive) in 23 games.

As a team, the Diplomats rank 36th in free throw percentage (72.4%) and 77th in three point field goals per game as Franklin & Marshall has connected on 322-of-445 at the charity stripe and 122-of-420 beyond the arc.

Franklin & Marshall College (9-14, 6-10 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on February 14 versus McDaniel College in the home finale. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
