Diplomats Rank Among National Leaders in January 23 NCAA Women's Basketball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Guard Dana Johns (Sr., York, PA/Eastern York), forward Brittany Braxton (So., Pearl River, NY/Nanuet) and Franklin & Marshall College are ranked among the national leaders in the January 23 NCAA Division III women’s basketball statistics. The 2005 Centennial Conference Player of the Year, Johns is ranked 14th in the nation in free throw shooting percentage as she is converting 88.1% of her opportunities at the line (52-of-59). For her career, she has 913 points, 272 assists, 229 steals and 138 three-pointers as she is the all-time leader in treys at the College and is closing in on becoming the 13th women’s player with 1,000 points at the College. Braxton ranks 70th in rebounds per game with 9.6 per contest as she has pulled down 134 (54 offensive, 80 defensive) in 14 games to date. As a team, the Diplomats rank 41st in free throw percentage at 72.1% as Franklin & Marshall has connected on 202-of-280 at the charity stripe. Franklin & Marshall College (4-10, 2-6 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on January 24 at McDaniel College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
