Diplomats Rank Among National Leaders in January 30 NCAA Women's Basketball Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Guards Dana Johns (Sr., York, PA/Eastern York) and Sarah Meisenberg (Fr., Severna, Park, MD/Severn School), forward Brittany Braxton (So., Pearl River, NY/Nanuet) and Franklin & Marshall College are ranked among the national leaders in the January 30 NCAA Division III women’s basketball statistics. The 2005 Centennial Conference Player of the Year, Johns is ranked 35th in the nation in free throw shooting percentage as she is converting 85.1% of her opportunities at the line (63-of-74). Meisenberg ranks 62nd in free throw percentage as she is shooting 82.4% at the charity stripe (56-of-68). Braxton ranks 54th in rebounds per game with 9.9 per contest as she has pulled down 169 (66 offensive, 103 defensive) in 17 games to date. As a team, the Diplomats rank 42nd in free throw percentage (71.6%) and 77th in three point field goals per game as Franklin & Marshall has connected on 247-of-345 at the charity stripe and 90-of-308 beyond the arc. Franklin & Marshall College (5-12, 3-8 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on January 31 at home versus Gettysburg College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
