F&M Ranked #7 in April 3 Laxpower.com Division III Women's Lacrosse Computer Rankings

LANCASTER, PA – The Franklin & Marshall College women's lacrosse team is ranked seventh in the April 3 Laxpower.com Computer Rankings.

Ranked seventh in the March 27 poll and the highest F&M has been ranked in the history of the Computer Rankings, the Diplomats hold the ninth toughest schedule in the nation, as only Middlebury College (1st), Williams College (2nd), Amherst College (3rd), Trinity College (4th), The College of New Jersey (5th), Connecticut College (6th), Salisbury University (7th) and William Smith College (8th) boast more difficult slates.

Ranked eighth in the final Laxpower.com Women’s Power Rankings last season, the Diplomats have been led in scoring this year by Jen Pritchard (Fr., Media, PA/Penncrest) who has 19 goals and four assists for 23 points.

Last week, she scored eight goals and tallied two assists for 10 points as the Diplomats downed Swarthmore (15-7 W) on the road and Muhlenberg (18-6 W) at home. Against Swarthmore, she scored six goals and handed out an assist to account for seven points before adding two goals and an assist against Muhlenberg. Further, she added seven draw controls.

One of the most successful Division III women’s lacrosse programs in the nation, Franklin & Marshall has captured six conference titles as the Diplomats have competed in 14 national championship tournaments and recorded a mark of 287-146-3.
