Mort & Diplomats Rank Among Nation's Best in May 15 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Statistics

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College goalie Kamissa Mort (Sr., Ashton, MD/Sandy Spring) and the Diplomats’ women’s lacrosse team are ranked among the national leaders in the May 15 NCAA women’s lacrosse statistics. As a team, the Diplomats are ranked ninth in draw controls (13.5 per game), 13th in scoring defense (5.8 gpg), 15th in scoring margin (5.8 gpg), 18th in winning percentage (75%), 19th in caused turnovers (12.25 ctpg) and 23rd in scoring offense (13.35 gpg). Individually, Mort is ranked 11th in goals against average (7.81 per game) as she allowed 138 goals in 1109:02 this year with 127 saves and a 14-5 record as the Diplomats concluded the season 15-5 and advanced to the NCAA Regional Finals at SUNY-Cortland. One of the most successful Division III women’s lacrosse programs in the nation, Franklin & Marshall has captured six conference titles as the Diplomats have competed in 15 national championship tournaments and recorded a mark of 296-149-3 in 30 years of competition.
