LANCASTER, PA – The Franklin & Marshall College women's lacrosse team moved to #11 in the May 1 Inside Lacrosse Division III Poll. Ranked #11 in the March 13 Inside Lacrosse Poll, #10 on March 27 and April 3, #9 on April 10, #5 on April 17 and #8 last week, he Diplomats earned the #2 seed for the Centennial Conference playoffs. In the playoffs, F&M knocked off third-seed and #13 ranked Dickinson College 15-12 in the semifinals before falling to first-seed and #1 ranked Gettysburg College 8-6 in the title game. Franklin & Marshall (13-4, 8-1 Centennial Conference) is awaiting word from the National Collegiate Athletic Association regarding a possible at-large bid to the NCAA’s national championship playoffs. The announcement will be made on Sunday, May 7 between 9 and 10 p.m. on College Sports Television.
