LANCASTER, PA – The Franklin & Marshall College women's lacrosse team is ranked #6 in the May 22 Laxpower.com Computer Rankings. Ranked #7 in the March 27 and April 3 polls, #6 in the April 10, 17 and May 15 polls, #8 on April 26 and #5 the last two weeks, the Diplomats finished the season 15-5 as the team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, knocked off Denison University (18-4 W) and #14 Nazareth College (10-7 W) and advanced to the regional finals before falling 6-4 to #9 SUNY-Cortland. One of the most successful Division III women’s lacrosse programs in the nation, Franklin & Marshall has captured six conference titles as the Diplomats have competed in 14 national championship tournaments and recorded a mark of 296-149-3 in 30 years of competition.
