McNeely & Mitchell Selected Among Nation's Best in March 1 CSA Women's Squash Individual Rankings

LANCASTER, PA – Franklin & Marshall College’s Freddy McNeely (Jr., Newtown Square, PA/Hill School) and Jessica Mitchell (Jr., Devonshire, Bermuda/Canterbury School) are among the nation’s top collegiate players according to the March 1 College Squash Association Women’s Individual Rankings.

The Diplomats #1 player for most of the season, McNeely finished the year with an 11-5 record to be ranked 43rd in the nation. Against higher ranked opponents, McNeely defeated #42 ranked Katia Stipinovich 3-0 (9-4, 10-9, 9-1) and could move up when the final rankings are announced later this month.

Mitchell, F&M’s #2 player for most of the season, finished the year with a 9-9 record, including a 2-0 mark at #1, to be ranked 77th in the nation.

The duo led Franklin & Marshall to the #19 ranking in the final Collegiate Squash Association poll at the Diplomats finished the season with a 9-9 record.
