Gaskins Named to 2006 All-Centennial Conference Women's Tennis Team

LANCASTER, PA -- Kate Gaskins (Jr., Richmond, VA/Mills Goodwin) has been named to the 2006 All-Centennial Conference women’s tennis first team.

The Diplomats’ #1 singles player, Gaskins finished the season with a 7-6 record, including a 4-3 mark in Centennial Conference matches, as she led the Diplomats to a 10-5 overall record and a 6-4 mark in conference play.

The honor marks the second All-Centennial Conference nod of her career after garnering first team honors in 2005 with an 11-3 record, including an 8-2 mark in Centennial Conference matches, as she advanced to the semifinals at the 2005 Centennial Conference Women’s Tennis Championships hosted by Swarthmore College.

For her career, Gaskins is 29-12, including a 10-3 mark at #2 singles, as she is now 21-6 in Centennial Conference play.
