CARLISLE, PA - Franklin & Marshall College's Dan Massey (Sr., Lancaster, PA/Conestoga Valley), Cliff Smith (So., Chester, PA/Chester), Keith Hamilton (Sr., Willow Grove, PA/Upper Moreland) and Andrew Thompson (Fr., Windsor, CT/Loomis-Chaffee) combined to pick up wins in the 4X200 and sprint medley relays at the DuCharme Relays at Dickinson College. In the 4X200, the Diplomats edged out Juniata College 1:37.17 to 1:37.32, while the Diplomat quartet pulled out to an early lead and held on behind a solid 800 meter run performance from Hamilton to finish in 3:48.93, half a second faster than runner-up Messiah College (3:49.43) in the sprint medley. Massey would later return to the track to lead-off the co-ed 4X400 meter relay with Oladipo Ashiru (Sr., Ibadan, Nigeria/Red Cross Nordic), Jackie Bentley (Jr., Mercersburg, PA/James Buchanan) and Samantha Pollinger (So., Mahwah, NJ/Northern Highlands) which finished first in a time of 4:10.32, 13 seconds faster than their nearest competitor. In the women's 4X200 meter relay, Pollinger and Bentley teamed with Sara Sussman (Jr., Baltimore, MD/Towson) and Bryn Benford (Fr., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) to finish in 2:04.06, right behind event champion, Dickinson College. In field events, Luke Oeding (Jr., Lancaster, PA/Manheim Township) placed second in the pole-vault by clearing 14 feet (4.27 meters) as Juniata's Dusty Lehr claimed the event with a leap of 14 '06.00 (4.42 meters).
