Durham, NC-- Franklin & Marshall College's Keith Hamilton (Sr., Willow Grove, PA/Upper Moreland) placed sixth in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 15.92 at the Duke Track & Field Invitational. Hamilton also finished ninth in the men's 400 intermediate hurdles with a time of 56.10 to lead all Diplomats' finishers at the predominantly Division I meet of national caliber athletes. Off the track, javelin thrower Bryn Benford (Fr., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) finished twentieth with a toss of 97'11", while Bill Ambrose (Fr., East Petersburg, PA/Hempfield) placed twenty-first in the men's javelin with a distance of 159'1". In middle distance events, Sam Pollinger (So., Mahwah, NJ/Northern Highlands) finished thirty-ninth in the women's 800-meter dash with a time of 2:33.32 Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on April 9 when they host the Little 3 Track & Field Championship meet versus Gettysburg and Dickinson College at the Iannicelli track.
