ALLENTOWN, PA -- The Franklin & Marshall College women's track & field team recorded several top ten finishes as the Diplomats competed at the Muhlenberg College Invitational. In the 400 meter dash, Jeannette Finster (Jr., LaCanada, CA/Flintridge Preparatory) and Sara Moser-Cohen (Fr., Fair Haven, NJ/Marine Academy of Science) crossed the finish line in 1:03.09 and 1:03.69 to place seventh and eight, respectively. Finster added a ninth place finish in the high jump (4-04.00) and Sarah Primak (Fr., Mifflintown, PA/Juniata) tied for 11th in the pole vault with a height of 7-06.00. Robyn Haertel (Fr., Millburn, NJ/Millburn) was fifth in the long jump (4.78 meters) and third in the triple jump (10.22 meters), while Bryn Benford (So., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) placed fourth in the discus (34.52 meters), fifth in the triple jump (10.14 meters) and eighth in the shot put (9.79 meters). Sam Pollinger (Jr., Mahwah, NJ/Northern Highlands) recorded an eighth place finish in the 800 meter run (2:31.24) to round out Franklin & Marshall College's top 10 finishers. In the relays, the 4X100 (54.34) and 4X400 (4:51.21) squads finished fourth, while the 4X800 relays placed fifth (10:19.88) and 11th (11:34.99). Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on April 19 at the Widener University Invitational in Chester, Pennsylvania.
