SELINSGROVE, PA -- Laura Lautenbacher (Fr., Langhorne, PA/Nazareth Academy) cleared 9-6 to place fourth and shatter her own school record in the pole vault as the Franklin & Marshall College women's indoor track team competed at the Susquehanna University Invitational. The performance bettered her previous record of 9-1 established at the Dickinson Holiday Invitational on December 12 and tied at the Kutztown Invitational on January 16. In other top 10 finishes, Bryn Benford (Jr., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) placed 10th in the triple jump (9.89 meters), ahead of teammate Robyn Haertel (So., Millburn, NJ/Millburn) who placed 13th (9.48 meters), and seventh in the weight throw (12.27 meters). Libby Haas (Fr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern) placed 10th in the high jump while Benford placed 12th based on misses as the do both cleared 4-10. In the distance events, Karen Ziga (Fr., Haverford, PA/Haverford) placed sixth in the 5,000 meters (19:20.15), while the Diplomats "A" distance medley relay crossed the line ninth (13:38.81).
