HAVERFORD, PA -- Dickinson's hopes of repeating as women's champion rest on seniors Callie Bradley, the defending champion in the 800, 1,500 and 3,000, and Emilie Bonano, the favorite in the 400. Gettysburg has senior Jaimie Bagatti looking strong in the 1,500, junior Cheron Walker defending her long jump title and sophomore Lauren Parker contending in the 200. Top seeds for host Haverford include senior Jane Steinemann in the 5,000, sophomore Sarah Burke in the pole vault and frosh Aislinn Sowash in the 55 hurdles. McDaniel senior April Brown hopes to deny Parker, Bonano and Sowash and defend her 55 dash title as well. Franklin & Marshall frosh high jumper Libby Haas (Wrightsville, PA/Eastern), Muhlenberg first-year triple jumper Jacqui Inverso and Johns Hopkins junior shot putter Andrea King are top seeds for their teams. Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore have two of the top 4x800 Relays entering Centennials, led by Owl junior Melissa Leedle and Garnet senior Njideka Akunyili, respectively.
