BRUNSWICK, ME -- The Franklin & Marshall College 4X800 meter relay team of Jeannette Finster (Sr., LaCanada, CA/Flintridge Prep), Nikki Salentri (Fr., Crosswicks, NJ/Northern Burlington), Libby Haas (Fr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern) and Bryn Benford (Jr., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) crossed the finish line in 9:58.48 to shatter the previous school record of 10:02.21 and lead F&M at the 2004 Eastern College Athletic Conference Indoor Track Championships hosted by Bowdoin College.

The squad's time marks the second time in less than a week that the 4X800 meter relay record has fallen as the previous record was established at last weekend's Centennial Conference Championships.

Individually, Haas placed eighth in the high jump with a height of 5-01.24 for one team point, while Benford finished seventh in the pentathlon with 2,582 points for two team points.

Overall, F&M concluded the championships tied for 35th place with Frostburg State and Westfield, while defeating Rhode Island College and Smith College.
