LOCK HAVEN, PA -- Bryn Benford (Jr., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) recorded three top 15 finishes to lead the Franklin & Marshall College women's track & field team at the Lock Haven University Invitational. In the 100 meter hurdles, she place eighth in the finals in a time of 19.49, just off the pace of her qualifying time of 17.57 from the trials. She added a second place finish in the triple jump (35-03.50) and a 13th place mark in the discus (110-03) to conclude the meet. Libby Haas (Fr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern) cleared 5-01 to place third in the high jump and sprinted to a tenth place finish in the 400 meters (63.32), while Laura Lautenbacher (Fr., Langhorne, PA/Nazareth Academy) cleared 9-0 to finish seventh in the pole vault to lead the Diplomats' field performances. Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on May 14-15 at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships.
