Benford & Haas Lead Diplomats at ECAC Women's Track & Field Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Bryn Benford (Jr., Malvern, PA/Great Valley) placed 22nd in the triple jump and Libby Haas (Fr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern) finished 18th in the high jump to lead Franklin & Marshall at the 2004 Eastern College Athletic Conference Women's Track & Field Championships hosted by Williams College.

In the high jump, Haas cleared 1.53 meters (5-00.25) to record the best finish by a Centennial Conference athlete, while Benford jumped 10.10 meters (33-01.75) in the triple jump.

In addition, Benford placed 13th in the discus with a throw of 35.79 meters (117-05) and 28th in the javelin with a toss of 27.99 meters (91-10) to round out Franklin & Marshall's results.
