MONMOUTH, NJ – Libby Haas (Jr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern York) placed second in the high jump (5-04), while Karen Ziga (Jr., Haverford, PA/Haverford) and Meredith Janeczek (Jr., Hershey, PA/Hershey) finished 11th (18:44.99) and 13th (18:54.82), respectively, in the 5000 meters to lead the Franklin & Marshall College women’s outdoor track & field team at the Monmouth Invitational. Haas also was part of the 12th place 1600 sprint medley team as Brittney Dhein (Sr., Telford, PA/Pennridge), Katie Byrne (Fr., Gettysburg, PA/Gettysburg), Haas and Megan Hunter (Fr., Allentown, PA/Emmaus) crossed the line in 4:35.58. In other top 15 performances, Maggie Selzer (So., State College, PA/State College) finished 15th in the 400 meter hurdles (1:17.52), Erica Losito (Fr., Chatham, NJ/Chatham) and Alyssa Catalano (Fr., Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove) placed ninth (34-02.75) and 13th (32-09.00) in the shot put, Catalano finished 13th in the hammer throw (96-05) and Kristy Groleau (Jr., Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Catholic) placed 13th in the javelin (101-02). Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on April 1 at the Little Three Championships at Dickinson College versus Gettysburg College and the host Red Devils. 100 Meters
