KUTZTOWN, PA - Libby Haas (Jr., Wrightsville, PA/Eastern) placed fourth in the 400 meters and second in the high jump to lead the Franklin & Marshall College women’s indoor track team at the Kutztown University Invitational. Haas crossed the line in 1:04.43 in the 400 meters to edge out Brooke McMurray of Kutztown (1:04.56) before clearing 5-2 in the high jump to tie with Sarah Thiebaud of West Chester University for second place. In other performances, Erica Losito (Fr., Chatham, NJ/Chatham) placed fifth in the 500 meters (1:28.80); while Alyssa Catalano (Fr., Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove) placed sixth in the 20-lb weight throw (37-2 ½) and fourth in the shot put (33-2), and Erin Gleason (Fr., Bayonne, NJ/Mount St. Dominion) finished eighth in the weight throw (32-2 ½) and sixth in the shot put (32-2).
