Diplomats Place Three in Top 10 of Weight Throw at Susquehanna Indoor Track Classic

SELINSGROVE, PA – Alyssa Catalano (Fr., Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove) finished second in the weight throw to lead three Diplomats’ throwers at the Susquehanna University Indoor Track Orange & Maroon Classic.

Catalano tossed the implement 41`-10.00” to finish less than two feet of the Franklin & Marshall College record of 43’-9” set by Brynn Benford ’05 last season.

Erin Gleason (Fr., Bayonne, NJ/Mount St. Dominion) and Terry Faber (So., Wexford, PA/North Allegheny) placed fifth (31-02.50”) and eighth (21’-08.75”), while Susquehanna University’s Jacki Jensenius won the event with a throw of 44’-11.00”.

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on January 27 at home in the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center Schnader Field House for the 2006 F&M Invitational.
