Women's Cross Country Places 20th at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Meet

SALISBURY, MD - Rebekah Egolf (So., Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) out-sprinted Chelsea Mullins of Moravian 23:08.68 to 23:10.62 to place 61st and lead the Franklin & Marshall College women's cross country team to a 20th place finish at the 2002 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet hosted by Salisbury University.

Egolf was followed by teammates Sarah Aronoff (So., Bethesda, MD/Bethesda Chevy Chase) and Emily Hughes (Sr., Springfield, VT/Springfield) in the 108 and 111 places, respectively.

Tammy Crudden (Fr., Collegeville, PA/Springford), Megan Feehan (Fr., West Chester, PA/Henderson), Amy Toporowski (So., Montgomery, WA/Williston) and Diana Levengood (Jr., Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) rounded out the Diplomat's top seven runners as F&M placed ahead of Goucher, Juniata, Frostburg, Susquehanna, College Misericordia, Lebanon Valley, Bethany, Albright, Thiel, Westminster, Marywood, Waynesburg, Delaware Valley and Villa Julie College.
