CENTER VALLEY, PA - The Franklin & Marshall College women's cross country team remembered teammate Sarah Aronoff (Jr., Bethesda, MD/Bethesda Chevy Chase) by competing as a group in the sub-varsity race at the DeSales University Invitational. Overall, the group placed 91st in 31:59.10. For the Diplomats the race capped a difficult week following Aronoff's disappearance while kayaking off Cape Cod on Sunday. An intense search by the Coast Guard was conducted, but was called off earlier this week. Led by first year head coach Keith Dieterle, the women ran the 3.1-mile course while laughing and remembering the memory of their fallen teammate. Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on November 1 at the Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Muhlenberg College at DeSales University in conjunction with the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. 5K Individual Sub-Varsity Results
