ANNVILLE, PA - Franklin & Marshall College freshmen Meredith Janeczek (Hershey, PA/Hershey) and Karen Ziga (Haverford, PA/Haverford) placed 13th and 14th, respectively, to lead the women's cross country team to a seventh place finish at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational. The sixth and seventh Centennial Conference runners across the line following the top five from Dickinson College, Janeczek (20:48.72) and Ziga (20:50.42) were within 90 seconds of individual champion, Callie Bradley of Dickinson (19:22.37). Sarah Aronoff (So., Bethesda, MD/Bethesda Chevy Chase) placed 44th in 21:58.53, while Tammy Crudden (So., Collegeville, PA/Springford) and Meg Laufman (Fr., Pittsburgh, PA/Oakland Catholic) finished in 22:16.27 and 22:22.20 to place 54th and 60th, respectively, to round out F&M's top five finishers. Overall, Dickinson captured the team title with 36 points. Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on September 24 at Gettysburg College in the annual Little Three Championships with Dickinson College. Race time is set for 4:30 p.m. 2003 Lebanon Valley College Invitational (5,100 Meters)
