Figueroa Named to September 8 Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA -- Franklin & Marshall College harrier Yanira Figueroa (Fr., Mount Vernon, NY/Tuckahoe) has been named to the September 8 Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Honor Roll.

At the Delaware Valley Invitational, she finished seventh in a time of 26:32 to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team to a second place finish at the Delaware Valley College Invitational.

Overall, she led a group of three Diplomats who finished in the top 10 as Colette Buchanan (Fr., Hershey, PA/Hershey) finished right behind Figuroa in 26:36 while Megan Feehan (Jr., West Chester, PA/Henderson) finished 10th in a time of 27:09.

As a team the Diplomats finished six points behind invitational champion Susquehanna University as F&M recorded 48 points to the Crusaders 42.

Franklin & Marshall will return to action on September 11 at the McDaniel College Invitational.11 at the McDaniel College Invitational.
