LANCASTER, PA -- Franklin & Marshall College received four votes in the September 21 NCAA Mid-East Region Women's Cross Country Coaches Poll. To date, the Diplomats have finished no worst than third in any meet as the team placed second at the Delaware Valley Invitational on September 4 and third at the McDaniel College Invitational on September 11. At McDaniel, Janeczek crossed the finish line in 24:05 over the six kilometer course to finish first to mark the first time an F&M women's harrier has won a meet since Emily Hughes '03 captured the individual title at the 2000 Battle for the Buggy meet versus Millersville University of Pennsylvania and Elizabethtown College. Last week, Janeczek finished third in 18:58.7 over the 5,000 meter course to lead to a third place team finish at the Little Three Championships at Baker Campus versus Gettysburg College and Dickinson College.
