Franklin & Marshall to Host Second Annual Friends of Sarah 5K Run on October 23

LANCASTER, PA -- The Franklin & Marshall College cross country teams will host the second annual Friends of Sarah 5K race on October 23 in support of the AIDS House of Washington D.C. and the Diplomat Athletic Club.

Runners will be challenged by a course comprised of two loops around Franklin & Marshall's scenic campus with the start and finish on F&M's Iannicelli Track in Sponagule-Williamson Field Stadium.

Registration will take place at the College's Mayser Gymnasium from 6-7:50 a.m. prior to the 8:00 a.m. start time.

Cost is $15.00 (includes T-shirt) for the general public, $5.00 for Franklin & Marshall students, faculty, staff & administration with a valid F&M ID (includes T-shirt) or free for F&M FSA with an ID (no T-shirt).

Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in the following men's and women's age groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.

Registration forms are available online at the Franklin & Marshall College cross country websites or at the registration table the day of the race.

The race is in memory of Sarah Aronoff, a Franklin & Marshall College cross country runner that lost her life in a kayaking accident last year.
