Janeczek Named to September 20 Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA – Meredith Janeczek (Jr., Hershey, PA/Hershey) has been named to the September 20 Centennial Conference Women’s Cross Country Honor Roll.

At the Little Three Championships hosted by Dickinson College, she finished sixth in 20:03 to lead the Diplomats to a second place finish versus Gettysburg College and Dickinson College.

F&M’s finish marked the first time Franklin & Marshall placed second or higher in the Little Three Championship since the 1999 team was second.

In a preview of a possible showdown at the Centennial Conference and NCAA Mid-East Regional Championship meets, Janeczek was the lone runner to break up Dickinson’s pack as the Red Devils finished #1-5 and #7-9 before the Diplomats’ Karen Ziga (Jr., Haverford, PA/Haverford) crossed the line in 10th place in 21:03.

Franklin & Marshall will return to the course on September 24 at the Philadelphia Metro Meet.
