Laura Fiore (Lancaster, Pa.) joins the Office of Human Resources as assistant director. Fiore previously served as a senior human resources generalist for R.R. Donnelley in Lancaster, was also a recruiting consultant with Tri-Starr Staffing Solutions. Laura received her bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton and has earned her certification as a professional in human resources.
Effective July 1, Keith Orris '81 (Lancaster, Pa.), currently vice president for external affairs and secretary of the College, will become vice president for administrative services and external affairs. Orris' new responsibilities willl include oversight of facilities planning, capital projects, facilities management, auxiliary enterprises (bookstore, dining), and public safety. Also, effective January 1, 2008, Helen Bowman (Lititz, Pa.), currently associate vice president for finance, will become vice president for finance and treasurer of the College. Helen joined Franklin & Marshall in 2006 after serving as controller and director of finance for Cigna. Bowman's responsibilities will include budget preparation and management, financial reporting, endowment management, the core accounting and treasury functions, and human resources. Other changes at the College include: Darlene Auker is the new College reservationist. A. Jonathan Miller is now coordinator of Windows support in the office of computing services. Kelly Ressler, formerly human resources administrator, has been promoted to project/office coordinator for facilities planning and capital projects. Peggy Waddle, formerly academic department coordinator for government, joins the department of human resources as human resources coordinator. -30- |
