The world of the Harlem jazz scene serves as the backdrop for a story of reconciliation and understanding between a brother and sister. As the musically talented Sunny adjusts to life outside jail, her brother begins his journey in exorcising the demons that put her there. In a tiny jazz club in Harlem, Sunny's brother begins to understand her pure love for self, music and family. Wilkins is a graduate of NYU's graduate film program and has produced a number of films and documentaries. He has worked with Spike Lee on both Inside Man and When the Levees broke.
