LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall has announced the following administrative changes at the College.
Laura Fiore (Lancaster, Pa.) joins Human Resources as assistant director. Fiore previously worked as a senior human resource generalist for RR Donnelley in the financial division. She earned her B.S. in marketing from the University of Scranton. Gregory L. Fulmer (Thorndale, Pa.) is the new associate vice president for finance. A CPA, Fulmer is a 1995 graduate of Franklin & Marshall. He previously worked with MDS Pharma Services as the director of financial planning and analysis, and with CIGNA Corportation for six years in various positions, most recently as a financial analysis manager. Melissa Fitzgerald (Lancaster, Pa.) joins career services as assistant director for special events. Fitzgerald will provide customized one-on-one coaching sessions for students of all class years, create and implement educational programs and workshops, and perform outreach to select employers and graduate schools. Fitzgerald was a career coach at Western Illinois University and holds a B.A. in psychology from Ball State University and an M.S. in college student personnel from Western Illinois University. John Romanski (Philadelphia, Pa.) is the college's new director of web services. He will spearhead website enhancement efforts at the college. Romanski, who previously worked as a web develoment director for Kelsh Wilson Design, is a graduate of Temple University. Charles Wachira (Lancaster, Pa.) joins Academic Technology Services as instructional technologies/designer. Wachira earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and his master's in instructional technology from Bloomsburg University. He previously worked as curriculum development specialist at Keystone National High School. Also joining the College are: Perry Scheid Lititz, Pa.) is the new assistant director of mechanical trades. Heather Smith (Strasburg, Pa.) joins the College as alumni programs assistant. Changes Debra Brooks (Conestoga, Pa.) is now assistant to the president of the college. She was previously assistant to the secretary of the college. Marcy Dubroff (Lancaster, Pa.) is the new associate director for the Center for Liberal Arts and Society. She previously served as associate director of College communications/news bureau manager at Franklin & Marshall for 14 years, Teresa Hagan (Columbia, Pa.) has been promoted to assistant director of web services. She previously served as coordinator for web technologies, training and information dissemination. Samuel Houser (Lancaster, Pa.) is the new Secretary of the College. Houser previously served as director of corporate and foundation relations. Prior to that, he was an assistant professor of classics. Christopher Raab (Manheim,Pa.), archivist and special collections librarian, and Lisa Stillwell (Lancaster, Pa.), information literacy librarian, have both been promoted to associate librarian. Jan Sams (Lancaster, Pa.)is now academic department coordinator for the government department. She previously served as assistant to the associate dean of the faculty. Omar Tirado (Lancaster, Pa.), formerly classroom and public user area coordinator and software specialist in the computing center, has been promoted to assistant director of user services. Peggy Waddle (Lancaster, Pa.) is now a human resources administrator. She was previously the academic department coordinator for the government department.
